Date Night Caramel

As the days start to get colder and winter is knocking on autumn’s door to come in, my taste buds are doing the same. Winter time means the season of Peppermint everything; Peppermint Mochas, Lattes, Candy Canes galore and I don’t know about you but I LOVE it! It reminds me of Christmas and overall lifts my mood.

What You May Need

Medjool Date

Almond Butter

Coconut Oil

Ingredients:

15 Pitted Medjool Dates

2 Tablespoons Almond Milk

1 Tablespoon Almond Butter (smooth)

1 Tablespoon Unrefined Coconut Oil (optional) Melted

1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

1/4 teaspoon Pink Himalayan Salt or Sea Salt (plus an extra pinch for the top)

Instructions:

1) Place 15 pitted dates in a bowl and cover with hot water. Let soften for about 10 min.

2) Drain the water and place dates in high speed blender or food processor. 

3) Add 1 tbsp almond butter, 1 tsp vanilla, pinch of salt and 1 tbsp of coconut oil and Blend.
